Mangalitsa Estates grows out of the Kerns family’s farming heritage and a belief that exceptional food begins with the people who raise it. Our family raises Mangalitsa pork on our farm and shares it with home cooks, chefs, and butchers who care about flavor and where their food comes from.
Why we chose Mangalitsa.
The breed’s deep red meat and generous marbling caught our attention. Its rich culinary character kept it. From a carefully cooked chop to a slow-braised shoulder, Mangalitsa gives the cook something distinctive to work with.
